How To Spot A Liar In a Relationship? Is he a big flirt Or full of fibs?
How To Spot A Liar In a Relationship?
It seems a spot of harmless flirting isn’t so harmless after all.
According to researchers, flirting is the one thing that men and women are most likely to lie to each other about.
A whopping forty-five percent of men and 46 percent of women say that a partner had lied to them to conceal flirting with a member of the opposite sex.
Other common porkie pies told by men to impress their dates included lying about their ambitions and their job title.
Not surprisingly, men were also guilty of fibbing about their true feelings to woo a lady into the sack. One in five women says that a man had managed to pull the wool over their eyes by romancing them with a pack of lies.
Paula Hall, a Relate counselor said: “I have never believed that flirting is harmless fun – you are playing with human temptation which can be quite powerful, so you are potentially playing with fire.
“The fact that people lie about how far they’ve gone is revealing because they know they may have crossed a boundary that their partner would not be happy about.”
